A self-conscious lady was hesitant to go to the gym, because she thought that her weight would make her stand out among the spandex-clad regulars. She chose a treadmill in the corner so she would be inconspicuous but as she exercised she noticed that people turned to stare at her at intervals. She thought she was imagining things when one woman even squinted to get a better look. She stepped off the machine to leave but when she turned around, she found the gym's only wall clock inches above her head.
