An old man wondered if his wife had a hearing problem but didn’t want to ask her directly because she might be sensitive about it. So one day, he stood behind her while she was stringing some beans. He spoke softly, "Love, can you hear me?" No response. He moved closer and repeated, "Love, can you hear me?" Still no response. Finally he moved right behind her and said, "HEY, HONEYLOVE, CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
She replied, "For the third time, Yes!"
