Hello site users and staff,

I've managed to fix the problem with some of the categories.  I'm afraid there may be some other problems creeping around so please report them to me as you see them.

I also noticed while working that there was some problems with the current news items at the bottom of the section list.  I fixed that.

There is still a problem with the orphanned articles in the staff's unapproved articles listing.  I'm hot on the trail of that ... don't worry.

Automatic backups of the article archive seem to be working fine now.

Additionally, all submitted articles are emailed to me and I archive them on my local hard drive.  But, I would advise all writers to keep their own copies of articles -- just in case.  It is better to be safe than sorry.

I'm planning to keep these updates as I find and correct problems.

Staff with appropriate permissions are welcome to post messages such as these so that they come to my attention.
